Congregation Beth Torah

Large Enough to Serve you, Small Enough to Know You

Adult Education

Life-long learning is a core value at Beth Torah. As a “House of Torah,” we endeavor to provide ongoing programs for Jewish education for all ages.

The highlight of the Adult Education Program is the annual Mark A. Siegel Scholar-in-Residence weekend. For one weekend each year, we bring in a respected expert in a particular area of Judaic study to hold discussions and presentations. Other educational events include popular and well attended weekly classes given by Rabbi Raskin, a Conversion/Introduction to Judaism class, the annual Tikkun L’eyl Shavuot study session, learning program on Yom Kippur afternoon, and regular Book Reviews.

Community Study with Rav Schlesinger

Rav Schlesinger of Community Kollel of Dallas will guide us through the yearly Torah reading cycle by leading 15 Monday night classes per semester starting on August 24th. Cost is $100 per semester, but no one will be turned away for lack of ability to pay. For more information, please contact Gary Booth at 972-818-6885 or garybooth18@yahoo.com
