PreSchoolSmall classes provide a nurturing, loving environment so children can develop a positive self-image. The school promotes creative play, fosters academic growth and invites parental involvement. All Jewish holidays are celebrated. A weekly Kabbalat Shabbat service is held to enhance the child's identification with Judaism. All teachers are degreed in education or child-related fields. To enroll, membership in Beth Torah is not required. Some scholarships are available. Our parent group participates in ongoing exciting events for the children - cooking hot lunch 4 times Children 12 months through kindergarten enjoy our daily activities. A 'Parent & Child' program for 12-18 month olds is available several times throughout the school year. A summer camp program is also available where children learn while they play. We aim to have a summer experience to remember. The summer includes many activities, adventures, projects, and special entertainers. The Preschool Committee helps the Director plan and execute the curriculum programs and fundraisers. Our Committee integrates new families by arranging an outing for the parents along with children. We also help families during stressful life cycle events - births, deaths and illness by providing assistance through our Sunshine Committee.
