Your check should be made payable to Beth Torah Youth What is Gareen? Gareen is a youth group for children in grades 3-5. Some of their favorite activities include pizza in the Sukkah, bowling party, Dallas Stars game, and the Men's Club picnic. What is Kadima The international youth organization for Jewish pre-teens. Sponsored by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, Kadima offers programs through Congregation Beth Torah. Beth Torah Kadima offers an exciting and full program of socials, trips, get-togethers, holiday observances, and much more. Membership in Kadima entitles you to participate in all Kadima activities. Every Kadima member also receives Kol Kadima, a quarterly magazine that includes stories, games, articles about Jewish topics, and other activities of interest. What is USY? USY stands for United Synagogue Youth, and it is the youth group associated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. USY is divided into three levels: the chapter, the region and international USY. RASHI is affiliated with Congregation Beth Torah. Our region, the Southwest Region of USY (SWUSY) region, is composed of chapters from all over Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The third level is the international level, made up of all the regions from all over the United States and Canada. Across this area, there are seventeen regions.
