Large enough to serve you…small enough to know you

It's never too late to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah

Whether you studied Hebrew years ago or are starting from scratch, this can be a very meaningful learning opportunity and Congregation Beth Torah is excited to offer an adult B'nai Mitzvah program designed to help support you on your Jewish journey. Guided by Rabbi Elana Zelony, Rabbi Jordan Parr and Elizabeth Stein, our adult B’nai Mitzvah class will meet weekly and will begin in the fall of 2022 on Mondays, 7-8:30PM. The class will learn the history, meaning, and origin story of the liturgy as well as learning Trope.

  • August 15 - October 31.....Hebrew Crash Course with Rabbi Zelony
  • November 7 - May 29.....The meaning of the prayers with Rabbi Jordan Parr, Torah trope and leading Friday night services with Elizabeth Stein

Friday,  June 2 & Saturday,  June 3, the class culminates in a Shabbat service led by members of the class.
