Congregation Beth Torah Century Campaign

Dear Friends,


As our 50th anniversary year comes to a close, I want once again to thank everyone who has made it so momentous and meaningful. Ron Jacobs and Rabbi Feivel oversaw months of planning for a great birthday party with the help of Rhonda Duchin, Esther Miller, Sandra Dyeak, David Duchin, Katie Babin, and many others.


As you know, the evening was designed as a celebration accessible to everyone rather than a high-dollar gala to bring in serious bucks. Nevertheless, I’m happy to report that the party turned a profit of more than $10,000, all of which is going to the Beth Torah Century Fund.


That will bring our total close to the goal of $1 million in donations and pledges over the next several years. Allan Rosen, Cliff Friedman, Vikki Silvis, Alan Hoffman, Larry Guzick, and Cyd Friedman did a remarkable job spearheading this campaign in a few short months.


We’re grateful to everyone who has recognized how crucial this is to sustaining the synagogue we cherish and securing our future. So far, about one-third of our membership has contributed to the Century Fund. Once again, we ask everyone to consider participating, at any level, before the campaign wraps up this summer.
