Katie Babin, Chief Administrator

Originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Katie Babin began her career in education, working in both Boston, MA, and Baton Rouge, LA. After meaningful reflection and an inspiring conversation with her Rabbi, she transitioned into the Jewish nonprofit sector—a move that has defined the past decade of her professional journey.

Katie has held a variety of roles focused on programming, fundraising, outreach, engagement, and operations. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to building vibrant, inclusive Jewish communities.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ithaca College, a Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Master’s in Jewish Professional Studies from the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, playing Minecraft with her son, traveling, playing tennis, diving into board games, and adventuring through Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
