Mark A. Siegel Speaker Series presents Benji Lovitt @ Beth Torah Comedy Club

With all the dire events happening at home and abroad, who doesn’t need to laugh? And who better to share jokes and insight than our own Benji Lovitt: Comedian, Educator, and Author?

For this year's Mark A. Siegel Speaker Series, Congregation Beth Torah is proud to present Benji Lovitt, in person March 29 - 30, 2024.
 
Friday evening, March 29 | 7:30 PM
"Israel 201": Benji will speak during evening services about the magic, mystery, and chaos that is Israel. Special Oneg Shabbat dessert to follow. (No charge to attend).

Saturday, March 30 | following Shabbat services and kiddush lunch
"If You Will It, Then What?": We take for granted that Israel looks the way it does, but it didn’t have to! Benji will lead this interactive session as we explore the competing visions for what a Jewish state might look like and debate whether Israel is a Jewish state or a state for all Jews. (No charge to attend).

Saturday night, March 30
8:00 PM - Join us for pre-show drinks, snacks, and Havdalah service
8:30 - 9:30 PM - CBT Comedy Night presents Benji Lovitt: "Is It Okay to Laugh?”
9:30 - 10:30 PM - Join Benji and your friends for after-show drinks and dessert reception.
The cost: $36 for CBT members; $54 for non-CBT members
